Ten Lakes is one of my favorite short backpacking trips in Yosemite. Each unit is fitted with a private bathroom with a shower. Had the entire like to ourselves, which was absolutely perfect. Also, there were barely any mosquitoes on this hike! Yes, there are plenty of trails in Yosemite far more famous than Ten Lakes, but among those in the know, Ten Lakes is considered an overlooked gem. The view is awesome on the top. The switchbacks down to the lakes are also clear. There is about 1 mile of steep-ish switchbacks, then turns mellows out again as you head towards the tens lake basin.
